Boks på hytta i vinterferien: klar mahognyfarge, superkort skum. Karamellaroma. Ok smak av malt og litt krydder, fizzy men kort munnfølelse. Ikke dårlig, bare kjedelig.

Clear amber, frothy offwhite head. Faint, malty aroma. Flavour is malty with slight hint of caramel, mostly sweet but with bitterness and also a sourish note. Boring.

a new Christmas beer from my favourite brewery.. this can is very nice, deep blue, and with lots nicer stars than tuborg julebryg. And it’s premium, that must be cool. here we go. Very nice clear dark yellow to orange golden, small offwhite to yellowish head. macro bubbly. Practically no aroma, vodka with lots of water would smell the same. not bad but simply not there. i just had a faxe dark, and that had like 10 times the aroma strength than this one. fail.. very faint malty and sort of caramelly aroma. perhaps i should have it colder who knows, perhaps they only put cold-aroma in the can. flavor is .. hmm. take a bottle of vodka, put in one toms guldkaramel, then let it sit for a month, then empty the bottle in so much water as to end up with a 5.7% alc. level. Add a bottle of sparkling water to get som fizziness, As toms guldkaramel actually tastes good, so do this beer, it’s just kinda pretty faint, and sweet and slightly malty... overly boring, but quite drinkable. many of these might become cloying as the hop balance is nonexistant, the guld karamel is all on its own. True to the danish macro christmas beer tradition. If you drink too quick you also get the telltale metal flavor of harboe

Can 500ml. @ home.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - grey head. Aroma is light moderate malty, bread, cereal, sweet malt, pale malt extract, light vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, malt bitter, vegetables. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131125]

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cardboard, caramel and hint of floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. Pours clear dark amber with medium white head. Aroma is malt, grain, hints cinnamon and caramel. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Body is light oily with good carbonation. Finish is medium long with notes of caramel, lemonade, cinnamon and brown sugar. A rather good budget Christmas beer.
