Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Amber/brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of raisins, redcurrants, orchard fruits, toffee apple. Taste is toffee apple, raisin, dried fruits, glacé cherries. Rich sweet malty foretaste culminating in a lightly bitter aftertaste. Very good.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - Hackney, London. Day 3. Pours clear ruby-brown with a frothy off-white head. Lots of ripe berries, low bitterness, old leather, butterscotch, earth. Medium bodied, oily, with fine carbonation, lightly warming and sticky on the finish, more earthy bitterness, ripe berries. Not bad.
