Borrowed Light was brewed with 2-row, pilsner malt, and malted oats. It was hopped in the kettle with Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo and then through our hopback with Citra and Cascade leaf. After primary fermentation in stainless, it then went through secondary fermentation with brettanomyces in oak puncheons, where it continued to condition for almost 3 months. Finally, the beer was dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo.

Draft pour at Holy Mountain. A golden orange pour with a glow to it. Beautiful appearance. Big bubble, spiral head. A good balance of citrus fruit and funk on the aroma. A juicy line like zest, with a funk to it, barely tart, and a lingering dryness without substituting flavor. Cool, refreshing IPA. The dryness really just keeps me drinking more and more of this. Citrus fruit, but bold, not sweet. Balanced well, though it does have a bit of an intense bitter note to it. Overall an outstanding borderline imperial brett IPA. Growlers of this?

Cloudy, tan, thin head. Soft pale malts and delicate brett, nice herbal bitterness, fresh, bright brett, leafy hop notes. Really nice pale biscuity malt.
