Our 15th anniversary brew is an amalgamation of brewing practices and ingredients from the old world. Ingredients and techniques from Britain, Germany, the United States, Belgium and France. If we had to define it we might call it a "blonde Old Ale made with Scottish Golden Promise, French, German, and North American malt, candy sugar and three varieties of German hops."

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is a bit weak, with some white sugar, peppery, piney hops and a touch of alcohol. Rather malty, both aroma and flavor. Bitter flavor, both initially and in the swallow, some white sugar and a generic fruity touch as well. Full-bodied and lighlty warming, with a pleasant level of carbonation. Long finish. Starting off a bit boring this one, but turns out to be pretty decent anyway. A bit too alcoholic though. 131123
