Our 15th anniversary brew is an amalgamation of brewing practices and ingredients from the old world. Ingredients and techniques from Britain, Germany, the United States, Belgium and France. If we had to define it we might call it a "blonde Old Ale made with Scottish Golden Promise, French, German, and North American malt, candy sugar and three varieties of German hops."

Bottle thanks to Dave. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with small frothy head. The aroma is yeast and funk. Medium mouthfeel with sweet fruit and light sugary malt with nice sweet finish. A good old ale from Southampton.

Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. Really, really sweet. Tons of dark sugars, fruits, rich bread. Not altogether bad, but a bit cloying and it would be tough to take down more than a small serving.

Bottle. Pours with a murky golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are malt forward, bready, and doughy with orange and tangerine notes. Floral and warm when inhaling. Flavors are of tangerine, marmalade, quite bitter, warming for the abv and bready. Some floral and chamomile notes as well. Medium carbonation and somewhat dry in the finish. Odd beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber orange with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grain with a bit of a citrus hop note and backing light fruit. Flavor has caramel and sweet grains up front with backing citrus/orange peel and light fruit.

Bottle to get through Thursday night. Pours dirty amber color with thin white head. Nose of light fruit and candy. Tastes of apple, caramel, brown sugar, ginger, and plenty of malt. Palate is less sticky than I remember when I had on draft. Finish lingers and some boozy warming on finish.
