Can at home picked up from Supermarche. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, sweet caramel, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, cocoa, powder, toffee, caramel biscuit, brown sugars. little thin and cloying, chocolate syrup. Palate is semi sweet, medium sweet, oily, cloying, mellow carbonation. too sweet, not much pay off.

Svart med beige skumring. Lukter veldig sjokolade. Noe karamell og røstet malt. Mye av det samme i smaken. kanskje mer karamell en sjokolade. Absolutt god men mangler litt trøkk.

0,44 boks fra M&S Muswell Hill, delt med Steven: brunsvart med ok skum. Dufter og smaker akkurat som forventet, gitt navnet. Noe lactose. Fin urtebitterhet i avslutningen slik at den ikke blir for søtt, heller litt kaffeaktig.

This is my cup of thee, not as heavy as big stouts, flavour packed, lots of taste and still only 8%, great

Can from Marks and Spencer, the Gyle, Edinburgh. Pours black with a thin tan head. Smells like chocolate frijj. Taste is caramel and chocolate. Not much biscuit for me. Thin sweet finish.

Draught, 330ml, at Cafe Sånn, kindly shared by Finn. Remaining, tiny fawn-coloured head, near-black body, fair lacing. Prominent aromas of mid-dry caramel, lightly roasted. Rich taste of caramel-chocolate joined by a biscuit note. Lingering finish with dry and sweeet choco-caramel, smoothly roasted. Well bodied. Nice. (Tromsø, 13.03.2024).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett mokkafarget skum. Karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken vanilje, karamell & peanøtter. Hint av sjokolade i avslutninga.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good detention and light lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt notes with some cookie and caramel notes with some residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate malt with some residual sugar notes and cookie with caramel notes. Body is somewhat thin for the style with good carbonation with no easily discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable pastry stout but would benefit from a fuller body.
