Bottle sample @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew.

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick, off-white head forms over a clear, dark golden body. The aroma has some chalky hoppyness, grapefruit and pine cones, not much maltyness. There’s some maltyness in the flavor, but it’s the hops that run the show. Grapefruit and pine cones and a nice bitterness. Some alcohol in the mouth, it’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting finish with a nice bitterness. Overall, a quite pleasant one. 140117

18th March 2013
Very hazy amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Palate is dry and a slightly soft. Dry creamy malt, sweet with a touch of caramel. This transforms in to fairly bitter pine hops. Finishes dry and minerally crisp with sweeter pine in the aftertaste and a little citrus. Not bad at all but the sweet malt and bitter pine seems to sit apart somewhat instead of being a cohesive whole.
