Can. Amber with a collapsing off white head. Aroma of toffee, vague citrus, some spices, a little pine. And so it tastes - moderate sweetness, rather bland malt, caramel, nice quite English hops and firmish bitterness. Liked the finish but the malt side of things is rather dull and there’s really not a whole lot going on for 6.2%. 7 3 6 3 13

Can at the Bow Bar. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - pine and biscuits. Taste - lemon zest and biscuits again. Some toffee. Actually not that dry so even invoking lemon drizzle cake. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - yep very drinkable.

Can. An almost clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. Fruity, piney aroma with some bready, caramel maltyness. Nice bitterness in the flavor, with pine cones, resins and a maltyness in the back. Pleasant carbonation level, full to medium body. Lasting piney and roasted, bready finish. A drinkable, repeatable one, although it feels a bit old now. 141213
