A lager that has an added spiciness to the flavour. This craft Brewed lager is smooth on the tongue but offers a bit of a wild ride all at the same time.

Hazy medium amber. Thin head. Light rye nose but a bit sweet and maybe phenolic. Different. Earthy, clean taste with slightly chewy, toasty malt character. Served a bit cold to really excite, but it’s ok.

Hazy dark amber color. Grainy aroma and flavor, a bit stale, then some caramel; light residual sweetness.
Simple.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small, mostly lasting, beige head that laces. Bready malt aroma with rye and nuts. Sweet flavour of bready malt, caramel, rye and nuts with a bitter grassy finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not a fan of lagers so my expectations were pretty low. I was pleasantly surprised, the malted rye really added flavour to what would have been another boring lager.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy dark orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light spiciness from the rye, a touch of earthy hops and some toasted bready malt. Flavour is medium sweet, with toasted caramel, bready malt and a touch of earthy spiciness. Medium sweet and lightly spicy finish. Very pleasant.
