Cask at the brewery taproom
Hazy dull amber color with no head. The aroma immediately shows some coffee, and dusty Mexican chilies; the flavor seems to linger more on the chilies, then the malt, then light coffee, all this with moderate residual sweetness and low bitterness.
Their Vienna Lager is a rare good example of the style, when you add coffee and spices you just make it worse.
Drinkable.

Amber, bright, lots of coffee. The hop doesn’t balance out whatever is lending this so much sweetness. Not particularly cohesive.
