Willacade is truly refreshing and contemporary with its strong floral aromas on the nose, complemented by light boutiques of fruit on the middle palate, and a bitter aftertaste that leaves you thirsty for more. Brewed at an abv of 3.6%, this beer is the ultimate session beer, giving you bursts of flavour and body, while being crisp and easy drinking.

Golden colour. Earthy, fruity, lots of hops. earthy bitterness. Lots if fresh hop character but it’s a bit cheesy. Good, solid bitterness. This beer is one that benefits from its job - pounding a pint quickly - and performs relatively poorly when subjected to careful scrutiny.

Cask @ JDW The Standing Order, Edinburgh
Light amber, crystal clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma - light citrus hops, soft pale fruits, hint of spicy hop
Taste as aroma...rather watery though
Palate - soft carb, thin and watery. Finish rather dry, bitter, breakfast ceral malts, bit of pepper, touch of bitter metal
Overall - Very light session ale, rather average but better than the poor Merlin’s Ale I had
