Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Beatutiful red mahogany color, hazy; the excessive head is a bad signal; it reduces to creamy beige head. It clearly shows the barrel aging, in the aroma, and an impression of raspberries. Thin and highly carbonated; some roasted malt flavor, raspberries, a bit woody and astringent, with light sourness.
Quite messy, probably infected. Although not completely bad.

Amber-brown, a bright, lively colour. Nose is yeasty, husky, and there’s something not quite right about it. Very fizzy with raspberry notes, random barrel and I’m having a hard time figuring out what the base style is and why I should care.
