Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy white head. Lightly juicy, lemony citrus aroma. Lovely beer, lots of lemon and straw, faint grapefruit. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Clean finish, more lemony hops, decent pale malt sweetness. Lovely beer overall. Very drinkable. Best beer from Alpha State so far.

Cask at the Cock Tavern, Hackney, 30/03/13. almost clear pale golden with a thin white head that retains well. Nose carries floral hops, pale malts, light sugars, tropical fruits. Taste is hop forward, floral notes, citrus, grapefruit, caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, dryish finish which is bitter sweet. Decent first offering from Brand.R !

At the Cock Tavern brewpub. Keg - I think! Almost clear pale gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and crisp, semi dry. Juicy fresh hops. Skunky with vibrant lemon and lime. Minerals. Crispy finish. Really like the combination of skunk and lemon. Very very drinkable! Shit name though (pun intended). Nice one JQ!
