Cask by gravity, half pint, shared with Finn at The National Winter Ales Festival. A few bubbles at the top of a coal dark coloured body. Spicy, dark malty nose. Malty taste supported by Christmas spices and with some kind of tartness beneath. Malt bitter ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Manchester, 23.01.2013).

Black with a small head. Has a deep roasted and a small burnt aroma. Its heavy taste is certainly down to its noticeable strength.
