A German style Imperial Schwarzbier with hints of sweet chocolate, dark caramel and smoky roasted malts. This black lager will embrace you with its velvety mouth feel and cozy warming finish, a testament to its alcoholic strength. The perfect match with a double chocolate torte on a cold winter’s night. Nirvana.

botle from mullet2007, thanks!!
jet black pour, nice big foamy beige head. Aroma is quite roasty, and full of chocolate, and coffee. Wow, if i didnt know this was a lager, i would bet the farm on it being a stout. Excellent lager, easily the most flavourful lager i have ever tried, very roasty, and full of stout like flavours, nice stuff!

Pours dark brown and flat. The aroma is a smoky-molasses with lots of wood, maybe rye bread. Soft, sweet and smooth, with mellow molasses and a light hint of woodiness.

500ml bottle from mullet2007! Thanks!! Nose of bigtime coffee, roastiness, and chocolate; clear very dark brown with a small tan head; flavor is coffee, rich creamy chocolate, and a very light background bitterness. Finish has a very light bitterness combined with some chocolate. Mouthfeel is very creamy. As good as most Impy stouts
