Matured by aging. The alcohol content is around 13%. The sweetness of the honey in this liquor is softened by the natural tartness of autumn honey and fruit tannin resulting in a taste that lingers in the memory.
Awarded a gold medal at the 13th all- Poland Wine and Drinking Wine Competition in Zamosc, Poland in 2004 organized by the National Council of Winery and Meadery.
Poured and sold in ceramic bottles of 750 ml and in oak barrels of 5000 ml.

Bottle sample at Specja?y Regionalne, pours a clear straw blonde. Nose reveals mild herbal notes upfront that mix nicely with treacly honey nectar. Flavour is a bit harsh, with high perfumey alcohols upfront, followed by sweet honey nectar, and subdued herbal notes. A little harsh and perhaps lacking the depth of some other products by this producer. But it's quite lovely.

75cl Ceramic bottle, corked, waxed and botled on 12 January 2016. My bottle is 13% ABV. W sam raz na moje przeziebienie i katar. Jak na trojniaka jest bardzo esencjonalne, metniste pomaranczowa barwa. W smaku pomarancze i brzoskwinie a takze winogrona z malinami i jablkami. A wiec owocowo, miodnie. Mimo sporej owocowosci to nie jest za slodkie bardziej wytrawne i korzenne na zakonczenie. Lubczyk i tymianek glownie z ziolowych akcentow wyczulem. Doskonale rozgrzewa i powoduje odkrztusnosc. Na Zdrowie!

Bottle* corked.Clear medium amber orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, wood, alcohol - buzzy, flowers - honey, sweet honey, wood - honey. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, wood, sugary honey, caramelized honey, spicy honey, tart fruity notes. Body is medium, texture is syrupy - watery, carbonation is flsat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20130825]

Measured Final Gravity: 1026
It pours a hazy dark amber color with a hue that suggests oxidization. The aroma is nice, not as deep as others, with a light trace of dust, and some Sherry note. Sweet mead, yet not syrupy; good flavor, some caramelized sugars, a fruity presence makes this mead pleasant and easy to drink; the acidity level is correct; but there is a light trace of oxidization, and light final astringency. The final is rather short.
Very good as usual, not exceptional; I wonder if the bottle was opened before buying.
