Minimal hop flavour, aroma, and bitterness to produce a malt balance. Delicacy of colour and flavour. Clean on aroma, smooth, well balanced with a smoky note.

Golden-copper colour. Aroma is mainly woody with hints of caramel. Very smoky flavour - the smokiest of any ale purporting to be in the Scottish style that I’ve ever encountered. Hints of apples, wood, caramel. Dryish finish. Top-fermented rauchbier.
