33cl bottle from EdKing, cheers Ed thanks. Hazy paleish gold beer with lasting white head. I’m in a good mood as I’ve done 2 hours of cycling today, I’m in a bad mood as I’ve had to endure Steve Finn bowling in a T20 international. I mean who the hell thought Steve Finn could bowl in a T20? If he can’t control the ball enough to be in the test team then his faults will only be emphasised in a T20 game. Sometimes the England cricket selectors just astound me. Aaron Finch on the other hand is fantastic for the Aussies. Floral white flowers floral aroma. Attractive in aroma, mouthfeel and some flavour. Given how bad England are in the cricket, the beer won me over. Good bitterness on the finish. Just a bit floral. It’s a nice enough APA

Tap East. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer. Little white head. Very nice nose of white flowers and lime! Palate is light, crisp and semi dry. Taste follows the nose to a good degree. Touch of grain in the pale malt, doesn’t matter! Floral sweetness, touch of lime. Mild orange peel with whispers of lemon and tropical fruits. All comes together with a minerally crispness. Fruity bitter linger. Good stuff, very drinkable.

Bottle split at JF’s, from Oddbins London Bridge, 23/08/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin off white head. Nose is citrus, bitter orange, candied sugars, grass, hops. Taste comprises orange marmalade shreds, orange pith, grass, mineral notes, light pine and hops, touch of piss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with some hop bitterness. Decent APA.

Bottle at home from Oddbins London Bridge.Light yellow straw colour with a white frothy head wit fine bubbles. Aroma is punchy classic nelson sauvin hops. Later these fade and some pale malt aroma comes out. The nelson sauvin type character is present in the flavour as well, sort of burnt. This is backed up by substantial lemon rind grapefruit bitterness that lingers around nicely. Clean simple malt profile. No Crystal malt flavours messing around. Medium carbonation, could handle a little more. Medium sweet. I little too much bitterness for me.

From tap at Tap East. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and smooth grapefruity. Peachy, light greasy hoppy, citrusy and grapefruity. Bitter and lingering fruity finish.

Keg at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours cloudy, matte yellow with a creamy white head. Some dry citrus in the aroma, dry pale malts as well. Light to medium sweet flavor with light minerals, dry lemon and tangerine, fine hay bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, faintly resinous, with more dry lemon and tangerine. Lovely stuff. Super drinkable. One of the top beers of the festival in my book.
