Dark brown and a bit cloudy. Aroma of bread, chocolate and coffee. Bitter taste of roasted malts and roasted coffee.

Bottle sample at PINT Winterbierfestival ’16. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet dark malts, cocoa, chocolate, roasted malts, some coffee, dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, cocoa, dark fruits, plain chocolate, roasted malts, toast, light spicy, coffee, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good.

Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2016. Gedeeld met de ratebeer clan! schenkt zoals 99% van de winterbieren hier op het festival caramelbruin met licht bruine kraag. aroma van donker fruit, rozijn, zoet, mout, rookmout, geroosterde mouten, lichte koffie. smaken zijn evenzo als het aroma daarnaast nog wat extra winterse kruiden, zoethout. matige body, licht bittere afdronk.
