Dominion Stout is a flavorful, creamy dark beer that is brewed in the style of an Irish cream stout. The complex flavor is mellow and well balanced.

From old tasting notes. Translucent brown color. Brief tan head. Soft chocolate malt aroma. Roasted malt flavor is on the light side and hints at cocoa and cinnamon. On the light side, this is more like a porter than a stout.

At the Dominion Taproom at Dulles airport 9/12/2012. Near black in colour with a hint of red and slight, off-white head. Light, roasted malt aroma with some milk chocolate. Flavours of powdered chocolate, prunes and caramel with a dryish finish. Fine.

Dark burgundy colour. Thinnish, coffeeish aroma. Body is light, nutty, toasty. Plain, and I don't mean porter.

Nice semi-transparent stout! Very mild taste. No sign of flavour, but no body. Some coffee taste in the aftertaste though!
