After being in countless Thwaites pubs, finally found this at the Manchester Beer Festival 2014. Copper with a small head. Strong tasting with a high sweet fruit aroma. Has a medium bitterness.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2013, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear medium to dark amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, candy, sugary. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, candy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
