ah, the good old mongoose!
I remember buyin this back in highschool cause it was 8%. Man it was awful tatsing then, and boy it still is now!
unless this stuff is freezing clod, and close to actually turning to ice, its undrinkable.

Originally rated June 2005. Canadian malt liquor... yeeha ! Awesome looking can with a mongoose bitting the head of a snake. The pour is great too, with a great creamy foam-bubble head. The retentions is very long, and the lacing is all over. Tiny bubble carbonation, very mild and slow. Rich golden colour. The aroma is strong, containing grain malt, alcohol and hints of bananas. The mouthfeel is very smooth. Tastes a weird combonation of malt, fruit and slight metal. Very drinkable though. Would have again. Note: Too bad this malt liquor was discontinued - as it was my favorite.

yellowish-amber; corn-ish, grainy aroma with some stale hops. Slightly oily body (so that's why the lads at Bloor & Spadina are so grimy), hint of biscuity pale malt is immediately overwhelmed by cidery, plastic-y flavours and sour apple. As malt liquors go, this approximates drinkable. Trust me, FORTY DOGG, a quart of this is just plenty.
