Bottled. Slightly hazy ambr colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is alcohol, figs, dates and some fudge with mild spiciness and some ripe fruits. Flavour is wooden, some toffeeish, caramel and mild alcohol tones with some resin and spruce tips in the finish.

Backlog October 2014. Slightly unclear, amber body with floaters under a nice, tan head. Strong aroma of caramel malt, dry fruit, ripe fruit, some toffee and slightly vinous alcohol. Flavor goes in the same direction, lots of sweet malt, dry and ripe fruit, caramel and balancing bitterness. Smooth in flavor, balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. There is some kind of greatness here that's a bit dificult to put words on, but surely and interesting beer without banging the drums.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and small to average, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Fruity hoppy and mellow malty aroma, minimally zesty hints of orange and mandarine, hints of milk chocolate, some caramel, a touch of fig and date, some honey. Taste is sweet malty and slightly fruity, notes of caramel, hints of milk chocolate, date, fig, minimally zesty, citrusy hoppy overtones with a touch of mandarine and orange, a honey touch; lingering, sweet malty finish, well hidden alcohol. Creamy texture, slightly sticky palate. A tad too sweet.

Dark amber color, apparently cloudy, with small head. Strong aroma of caramel with a touch of fudge and figs. Full bodied; caramel flavor, quite sweet, with a fruity and slightly acidic touch, impression of dates; strong bitterness, some hop resins in the final.
