Pours a dark brown colour with ruby-copper highlights, a mocha-coloured head that stay quite a while, leaving lots of lacing. Getting a roasted malt base with a touch of molasses and nutty-coffee. A slick mouthfeel, a touch oily with just a little dryness in the finish, later. A tad more nuttiness in the taste, over the darker notes in the nose, but still not too strong. Seems more like an easy-drinking Stout than a Brown Ale, but easily drinkable.

This brown poured just that. Brown, deep dark and delicious looking. Nice creamy, tan colour head. Medium lacing. Scents include nuts, roasted malt, and a little coffee. First swig was delicious. Creamy, not too sweet, with flavours of light coffee, caramel and nuts. Finish is caramel, and light coffee with very light hops. Fantastic.
