Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Dark malty aroma with caramel, soft wood, distinct dried fruits with raisins, notes of dark chocolate and a touch of liquorice. Not very smokey. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Enjoyable Bock with wood, dark chocolate and dried fruits.

330ml bottle. Dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Toasty, chocolately, minimally nutty, dark malty and caramel malty as well as weak, yeasty fruity aroma, notes of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, a touch of nougat, whiffs of cherry. Taste is surprisingly bitter, roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty and yeasty fruity, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, cocoa, hints of cherry, a weak touch of plum. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly to lively carbonation. Nice composition, nice fruity aspects, sadly a bit overcarbonated - good.

Van de tap in het Alkmaars Koffiehuis met J&A en M. Goed donker, bijna zwart, mooi schuim. Prima bokbier, niet te zoet. Lichte rooksmaak.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Soft roast, dried fruit and wood in the aroma and flavor. Sweet, caramel. Maybe a bit thin, but tasty and fairly well balanced.

Bottle @ home shared with dad. Dark brown to black color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, cocoa a bit, don't get cherries, light caramel, lightly bitter, brown malt bitter and a bit earthy. Perhaps a light hint of cherry stone in the finish. Decent body and carbonation. Nice.
