Can from a beer or the month club. Dark Brown pour, with a medium beige head. Aroma is resinous pine up front, with some semi sweet, roast malts, with hints of coffee, and cocoa. mouth feel is standard, carb is the same. Finish is resinous, medium bitter, coffee fades, and the hops take over. A nice example of the style.

This black IPA poured a deep black colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include grassy hops, roasted malt and a little coffee. First swig was very good. Flavours of flowery hops, coffee and dark cocoa. Finish is med bitter with those roasty flavours lingering forever.
