Can from the lcbo. Dark copper pour, small white head. Big caramel aroma, some nuttiness, and grassy hops. Mouth feel is a little thicker than expected, carb is quite low. Finish is sweet and a little syrupy. Could use a little more hops and bitterness to cut the sweetness. Meh.

This ale poured a nice red colour with a soft creamy head. Scents include malts, light gravy, caramel and a little hop. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of caramel and a little smoke. Finish was nice and malty with a little hop bitterness lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from the LCBO. Pours a clear caramel-amber colour with a light beige head that is small, lasting a tad, but not much with a tiny creamy ring. Aromas of nutty malts with caramel, fruitiness and maybe some weird hops. The taste is even nuttier, less fruity with notes of wood and mild different hops again. Really not my thing. A bad mix of a Nut Brown and Amber Ale with weird ingredients.
