Racine is a blend of three brews : a juicy NEIPA generously hopped with Citra and Galaxy, a mixed fermentation saison matured for 8 months on foeders, and a mixed fermentation kveik aged in oak barrels for 16 months.
The result is a hyper balanced beer between the typical tropical flavors of NEIPA (tropical fruits and stone fruits) and the tart, woody and complex "funk" of the two mixed fermentation beers.

Hazy, golden-orange colour with a small off-white bubbly head that does not stay long, leaving no lacing. Big Brett-like aromas with funkiness, sourness, vinegar and a touch of Saison. Flavours are also funky, sour with pear notes, a tad citrus, but not getting much of the NEIPA side, nor the Saison, as the wild-side takes over. Too bad, sounded like a cool blend of three styles - but Brett won.
