Mild by name but not by nature this incredibly smooth beer seamlessly blends beautiful speciality malts. Creating flavours of coffee, caramel and bitter chocolate.

Nose is bown sugar, toffee, hint of treacle, fruit cake, walnut, hint of bread. Rich and inviting.

Taste is nice, but not as good as the nose. Taste is dough, brown sugar, toffee, dark caramel, red berries floral with a slight drying note and a surprising coffee and smoke flavour in the finish . A bit thin

I really liked this a lot, complex and drinkable..

Keg @ Kobenhavn, Halifax. Extremely dark with a head. It remains very mild tasting for its unusual strength, with a hint of sweetness in its dark malt nose.
