0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before October 2026. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity, moderately smoky-medicinal aroma of caramel, orange jam, sultanas, mulled wine, vanilla, some peat and light iodine. Quite sweet, malty, gently fruity, moderately smoky-medicinal and a little woody taste of caramel, peat, iodine, sultanas, orange jam, mulled wine, vanilla and a touch of oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit woody finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, quite complex, just a bit too thin (again) for my liking. Good winter warmer.
