To celebrate Utrecht's 900th birthday we brewed this freshly tasting hefeweizen. Trajectum is de oude naam van Utrecht en was de naam van het Romeinse fort wat ooit de bakermat vormde van de Utrechtse binnenstad.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierwinkelier.nl'. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove, honey and light orange peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and minimally fruity taste of banana, clove, some honey and a touch of orange peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally sourish finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.
