Bottle 750ml.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sugary, malt, bread. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sugary, bread, malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130913]

Bottle. Medium amber with a thin head. Aroma is warm sweet malt. Flavour is nice malt, warming but not the burning you get from a lot of doppelbocks.

Bottle. Pour s clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel and dark fruit aroma. Fruity malty spicy caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy dark fruit finish.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Clear, amber colour with a golden tint. Small, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, toffee and a hint of nuts. Taste is sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with fruits and rich caramel malts. Nice Bock.

Bottle - Amber/orange pour with a small white head. Caramel sweet malts, nutty, slight spicy yeast, doughy bready taste.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, caramelish and light toffee. Bitter, breadish and toasted malty. Dry and bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Lovely caramel aroma. Rich body, sweet German style caramellish malts with just a little late balancing hops. Very decent and close to style. 130913

Bottled (as White Gypsy German Doppelbock, 7.5%), from The Drink Store, Dublin. Hazy amber, small head. Light caramel and citrus up front. Above medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some caramelly malt. Slightly warming finish with low bitterness.
