(473ml can from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours nearly opaque dark purple-red with an average deep pink head. Aroma of intense crushed boysenberries, jam, currants, a little vanilla, light citric/lactic tartness but principally sweet and fruity. Flavour is lightly tart red berries in yoghurt - boysenberry, black raspberry, currants - lightly sweet but mostly a crushed fresh berry quality. Very slightly tart, soft vanilla, quite like a drinking yoghurt really. Medium bodied with slightly below average carbonation. Lingering berry flesh and skin in the aftertaste. Refreshing, easy to drink, not overly complex. Not quite as good as the Veil beers in this vein.
