Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 14, 2020. Aroma so malt forward and rich with lots of dark caramel and toffee, lighter notes of roast and chocolate with hints of anise and tobacco. Light bourbon, oak and alcohol notes. Pours jet black with a small, moderately thick, dark mocha head that recedes quickly to a small, thick film that lingers. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderately strong notes of dark caramel, toffee and chocolate. Lighter roast, tobacco and leather. Moderate bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Light hints of dark fruit. Medium light bourbon and lighter oak notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied and a bit silky with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. There is definitely a salted caramel note. It's present in the aroma and coats the back of you throat while you drink the beer. I don't love it but it's not terrible either.

Can. Thanks Nolen!!! Pours opaque black, no real head or lacing. Aroma is a bit odd, butter, cocoa, licorice, bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet, hot, light bitter. Medium body, low carbonation. Odd
