Bottle at home. Pours opaque copper with quickly dissipating off-white head. Nose is caramel, candi sugar, booze, grassy notes, some pine. Taste is moderately sweet booze and malts and some resinous hoppy bitterness. Long lasting bittersweet finish, light to medium body, soft carbo. Not bad, but kinda dull.

Bottle 0.33l from our archive. Cloudy, amber colored. AROMA- pale plums, apricot, caramel, medlar, biscuits. FLAVOR- quite sweet, slightly tart, the same as aroma, nice alcohol, raisins, prošek. Fuller bodied. Tasty.

From tap at BeerGeek Bar, Prague, 21.07.20. Clear golden amber. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Moderate aroma of ripe tropical fruirs. Strong and lingering taste of overripe tropical fruits, sherry and caramel. Heavy mouthfeel.

Tap at Beergeek. Warming alcohol present, but not overpowering. After such a long time the hops aromatics are mostly gone, yet still some resiny citrusy character left. Also med-high bitterness to effectively counter the caramelly maltiness - which itself is not too much again. Laid simply - a barleywine that stood the test of time. Sipper, sufficiently complex, very good.

(tap 0,2l @ Malt Worm (Brno)) Overall: First/last from keg then so cloudy? Just ok, sweet, strong, good balanced with bitterness. Aroma: Fruity, light alcohol. Appearance: Cloudy ligh brown. Persistent beige head. Taste: Medium sweet, fruity, reisins, light alcohol, caramel, medium bitter. Palate: Medium body. Sticky texture. Warm, bitter finish.

Bottled 330ml. -from BeerGeek Beershop Prague. Clear darker golden coloured, Medium sized off-white head, sweet malty, caramel and dried fruits in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, dried fruits, light wood, sticky sugar sweetness with strong notes of alcohol in the finish. Bit sweet and boozy but ok.

Draught @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Pours clear dark golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, sweet fruit. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, wood, dried fruit, riasins, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 230719
