Cask at Trackside, Bury. Clear golden pour with a white cap. Pale malts, fruity hop aroma. Taste: light sweet & bitter, semi-dry, light malty, caramel hints. Light to medium body with average carbonation.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

Cask at Bear & Billet, Chester. Pours a golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Malts are the mainstay of the aroma – plus some hints of chestnuts. In the mouth it is sweet and light with a rather watery texture. Traditional hops are there in the flavour, but don’t swamp it. Later there are some underlying malts and traces of toffee and autumn fruits. Finish is dry and quite bitter. This is quite nice.
