Brewed as blending stock for our annual barrel-aged blended stout, this super-strength dry stout has been aged in 200L Jamaican rum casks for four years, before being blended into an Oloroso Sherry cask. Expect deep flavours of rum and wine from the barrel-aging process as well as chocolate, rich molasses, and boozy heat.

A one-of-a-kind barrel-aged super-imperial stout boasting a whopping 20% ABV and delicious flavours of rum. Only 500 bottles were created.

330mL bottle, pours dark brown with a tiny head. Nose is loaded with intense rum barrels, big booze, and sherry-like oxidation. Flavour is unfortunately tainted by a lot of soy sauce, hot rum, big booziness, and molasses. Way too much salty soy sauce and boozy fumes. The body is very thin too despite the ABV. Fun experiment but this just doesn’t work — way too harsh and uncoordinated.

Bottle online from the source. Pours black with a tan cap. Aroma: spicy dark chocolate, big rum, barrel, boozy petrol like vibes. Taste: heavy sweet, harsh alcohol, dried fruits, dark chocolate vanilla, molasses, rum. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Think this one needs more time.
