Can from Eltham Wines. Blood orange coloured pour with a white head. Peach, orange peel, pink grapefruit nose. Bitter citrus flavours, lots of bitter hop. Zesty bitter finish.

Can at home in Hackney - huge thanks to Big G. Pours lightly unclear orange-gold with a rich, frothy, mostly white head. This beer almost leans more toward the west coast than the east, but the straddling is wonderful. Lots of hearty citrus, ample resinous pine, supportive pale malts, mellow piney and rindy bitterness, touches of papaya. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Subtly warming finish, more rounded citrus fruit character, restrained gooey pine, orange and tangerine, continuous pale malts. Not at all gloopy or chalky. Glad to see beer like this in 2019.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Hazed, medium orange gold. Thin and dense, fully lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has a rich, jammy citrus character. Some menthol like pine. Super clean malts. Notes of fresh tea leaf. The hops have been thoroughly wrung out here. Smells great. Taste has clean, pithy, citrus bitterness. Flicker of candied peel sweetness. Medium body. Silky smooth. Fine carbonation. Lingering citrus bitterness to finish. Incredibly easy drinking IPA, with beautiful balance throughout.
