Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured an orange amber with a thin white head. The aroma is rich malty and hoppy. The flavour is rich hoppy, liqourice, spicy and with loads of pepper on the palate. A super beer that tastes a little more like a DIPA.

Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear, bright and deep gold with a fine, creamy head. Aroma holds resinous grass and pine, some ripe citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with sturdy, somewhat dank and piney bitterness, ripe grapefruit, grass, lightly toasted pale malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous and piney hops to finish, good dose of dank, grass, light dry and ripe citrus, grapefruit, orange. Really solid, hoppy session beer. Lots of character for only 4.6% and the bitterness is never too harsh. Good work.

Cask at the brewpub. The knowledgeable barmaid said this was a tweaked version of Harvest Ale. Almost clear amber beer, good off white head. Palate is light with fine carbonation. Nice limey hops with a trace of lemon sherbet. A little peel bitterness. Mild pine. Finishes smooth with mild grassy bitterness.
