500ml bottle from Budgens, Islington. Hazy cloudy amber deep colour with thick lasting rocky beige head. Some brown malt and light pepper hop on aroma. Light chocolate malt in the mouth with some light zing on the finish. It’s a best bitter. An ok one. Malts are quite nice.

Cask/GD at the 14th Egham Beer Festival at the EUSC, 28/03/13. Lightly hazed dark amber with a thin off white head that dissipates to the edge. Nose is a little dungy, burnt toffee, faint fruits. Taste comprises toffee, light smoke, dark fruits. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitterness in the finish. Ok stuff, not one I’d necessarily seek again though!
