Bottle 22fl.oz.[ Courtesy of my Secret Summer Santa ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, dusty dark malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted bitter, malt bitter, chocolate, cacao powder. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130913]

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and vanilla aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish with hints of vanilla.

Bottle - black pour with a creamy tan head. Roasted sweet malts, caramel, dark chocolate, slight coffee, toffee, with some fruity notes throughout, slight bitter roasted finish. Good stuff.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is coffee and dark roasted malty. Fruity. Solid dark malty, bitter, hard roasted and bone dry. Light fruity note. Dark chocolate and bitter finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy beige head leaving some lacework. A little licorice and roast in the aroma. Medium body, roast and cocoa powder with some warming alcohol. Not overly sophisticated yet still very nice. 130913

This brew pours black with a medium dark tan head that diminishes slowly to a film. Rings of lacing on the glass. Notes of burnt malt, coffee and caramel in the nose. Medium body with a roasty character and flavors of malt, black coffee and fruity hops. The finish is moderately dry with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Solid beer all around.
