Semper Ardens Kellerbier is an unfiltered pilsner beer with a nice hoppy bite. The richness and taste is soft and well-balanced with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste. The beer's aroma is marked by sun-ripened barley and malt with a hint of woodwork and bitter herbs.

Bottled from supermarket in DK. Poured cloudy yellow oragne, some earthy notes but overall a bit lighter than your average kellerbier.

Hazy pale golden color with a white head. Ok lacing. Mild sour and herbal aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Mild sour, malty and herbal flavor. Nothing I will recommend.

Positiv overrasket. En lager med mer fylde og ikke så bitter som en pilsner, men uten bayerens store sødme og karamell. God til og i mat.

Bottle. An unclear golden beer with a small white head. The aroma has lots of canned peaches, some grains and hay. A light flowery touch too. Rather sweet on the palate, soft carbonation level and with a little bitterness chiming in. Some bitterness towards the finish. Overall, too sweet, but far from bad, quite drinkable. 140606

Lys gylden, tåget. Stort set ingen aroma. Fin umiddelbar fylde, malt og humle. Let bitterhed i eftersmag. Helt ok.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, white head. Sweet, malty nose, lots of straw up there. Medium body, loads of malt, a whiff of metal but nothing too much. Some grassy hops, but never exactly bitter. Decent enough. 051213

0.5L bottle from netto, 12dkk. cheap!. cloudy yellow, smooth white head. Dusty hoppy aroma with a faint citrussy touch, in fact resembles real german beer quite a lot. malts are there, but in the background. flavor is dusty, faint citrussy, dry almost metallic hops, lagerish malty feeling to it. faint spices and bread. quite bitter.
