Semper Ardens Kellerbier is an unfiltered pilsner beer with a nice hoppy bite. The richness and taste is soft and well-balanced with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste. The beer's aroma is marked by sun-ripened barley and malt with a hint of woodwork and bitter herbs.

0.5L bottle from netto, 12dkk. cheap!. cloudy yellow, smooth white head. Dusty hoppy aroma with a faint citrussy touch, in fact resembles real german beer quite a lot. malts are there, but in the background. flavor is dusty, faint citrussy, dry almost metallic hops, lagerish malty feeling to it. faint spices and bread. quite bitter.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ pre-TSODRBSG13 ], Ulfborg.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, hay, straw, vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, grass, vegetables. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130830]

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with notes of malt and skunk. Bitter, hoppy flavour with a good deal of yeast and a cardboardlike finish. Low carbonation. Drinkable but nothing very impressive.

50 cl. bottle. Hazy, pale golden colour with a big, frothy white head. Fruity aroma with bread malts, grains and grasses. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and lightly bitter fruity with grasses and fruits. Decent Kellerbier.

Bottle, 5.2%. Bready aroma, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. Cloudy greyish dark yellow colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is OK yeasty with a decent hoppiness, citric but not that refreshing. The bitterness is in between rough and refreshing as well.
