Bottle, bought at Arrogant Sour held at Moor Beer Co in Bristol July 2019. Pours light hazed copper with no head. Aroma: caramel, candied sugar, star anise, alcohol, wood, vinous. Taste: sweet up front with a slightly acidic finish, raisins figs, caramel. Nice complexity. Medium body with no carbonation. Interesting and bold, that 18% doesn't show too much

From barrel, little tasting @EurHop 2016 (Rome). Color rame, lievemente torbida, schiuma virtualmente assente. Al naso è un tripudio di aromi, caramello, zucchero candito, anice stellato, tanto alcol, legno, anche una nota vinosa. Un gran casino! In bocca è sgraziatissima, dolce con finale appena acidulo, complessa ma totalmente slegata nelle sue componenti. Corpo devastante, carbonazione assente. Definitely not my cup of tea.
