Cask, gravity, at Cross House Tavern, Tewkesbury. Clear amber brown, beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel/toffee, dark fruits. Taste pretty much the same, sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit, finish somewhat bitter making it feel more balanced in the end. Medium bodied.

2 pints of cask taken away and shared between us. Copper-coloured, clear with almost no head. Scent of honey, toffee, leafy hops. It is incredibly sweet, but there's enough light bitterness in the finish to keep it from becoming sickly. Ripe orchard fruit notes in the aftertaste. Light oily body, carbonation soft to nil. Inoffensive and forgettable but certainly enjoyable enough at the moment.
