Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is pale yellow with trace sparkle, thin ring of off-white head and trace lacing. Aroma is wheat, funk, banana. Taste is bubble gum, clove, banana. Palate is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and dry, yeasty finish. Overall, a little funky in the aroma but a nice flavor and palate.

Pours a hazy yellow from a tap, big bubblegum aromas settle more into the classic banana/clove hefeweizen. Good representative, nothing outstanding but certainly nothing bad. Good beer.

Refrigerated brown bomber from AirForceHops poured into a weizen glass. Orange/light brown with medium off-white head. Aroma is clove and some banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and some light lacing. Taste is darker wheat malt, clove, and some banana. On the darker side of the color scale for hefeweizen, good stuff.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Gusher! Pours lightly hazy gold with a quickly fading white foam head. A little funk in the nose, light yeast. Light sweet flavor with lemony tang, soft brett bite, faint wheat. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Quick and lightly tangy to finish. Tastes off, unfortunately. Meh.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’13, 10/08/13. Hazed orange/light amber with a thin white head. Nose is tarte fruit, orange, light spice. Taste comprises lightly soured fruits, citrus, orange, touch lactic. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Not a hefe as I know it but just about drinkable, that said glad to be taking a small sample!

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2013. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Ginger and clove aroma with a little citrus. Odd flavour, stewed greens, foetid sprout juice. Not good.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. Thanks to Leighton. Translucent orange pour with a thin white head. Some belgian yeast esters in the aroma. Slight earthy bready malt, dry finish. Some sharpness. Decent.
