Extra Shiny Bear is a cask bitter, hopped with good old EKG for a floral, earthy, bitter hit backed up by dark malts to give biscuit, caramel and light spice to this easy drinking old school pint.

Cask at Ship Aground, Stafford (not yet listed in Brewver). Pours dark copper with a sizeable foamy off-white head. The aroma has marzipan, vanilla and malts. In the mouth it is juicy and slightly sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour has corncake, biscuits, caramel, malts and hints of nuts. Bitterness comes through quite strongly later leading to a dry finish. This is quite nice.
