Appearance: Fogged deep gold with a large off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: Biscuit malt, phenols, pine needles, resin, grapefruit. Light sweet, medium plus bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: Fells like aslightly infected IPA.

500ml can from Salden’s in Tula. Pours clear orange with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is berries, caramel, citrusy hops. Taste is light to medium sweet, berries, citrus. Medium bitter finish. I don’t know what is Belgian about it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvikar. Clear orange. Hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, some caramel and a light fruity Belgian yeast note. Sweetish caramelly flavor with fruity hops and some bitterness. Medium-bodied. Not overly-Belgian, fortunately.

BOTTLE 50 CL from eluosiren. Quite a bold, sweet and fruity aroma with notes of sweet citrus, tropical fruit and hints of resins that bring in a bit of freshness. Feels a bit too sweet at times. The taste starts very sweet, fruit and caramel and ends up still sweet and sticky. You get some citrus hops and big bitterness, but the overall balance remains sweet. Not sure what is Belgian about it (no spice, no dusty fruity perfume). A desert or winter-time IPA. Good, if you need some sugar.
