On cask at the Scree Inn. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Creamy to beige head. Nose - nuts, malty bread and dried fruit. Taste - caramel, plum of rhubarb jam. My bready finish. Palate - light to medium bodied. Sweet middle and decent dryness on the finish though could be more bitter given the style. Overall - good.

Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a light foam head. Doughy bread nose, some yeast. Light sweet flavor with toasty dough, a bit of yeast and mild, leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. A little dryness at the finish, with more toasty dough. Very basic, but OK.

Cask (@Strands Hotel, Nether Wasdale): Amber coloured, stable creamy off-white head; malt and milk chocolate in the nose, with slight hoppy background; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering bitter-malty finish. Quite O.K.....
