[5/3/13] Draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Slightly hazy amber. Boozy malty aroma with lots of caramel, honey and some fruitiness. Alcoholic flavor, malty, caramelly and fruity. Full-bodied, kinda syrupy. Good.

Draught @ CBC. Pours brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of malts, oak, vanilla, caramel, wood, whisky. Flavor of sweet malts, caramel, oak, vanilla, bourbon, dried fruit. Full body, soft carbonation, warming alcohol in the finish. 030513

Sample from tap, CBC 2013. Hazy, amber-orange colour with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma with rich caramel malts, dark, dried fruits, candid sugar, alcohol. Taste is sweet. Full body, thick texture. Finishes with a light bitterness and lots of caramel richness and alcohol. A bit to rich in some flavour nuances to be really great - more balance, please!

Draught at CBC. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate sweet and bitter vinius flavor. Alcoholic but nice. Long moderate bitter finish. Excellent creamy palate. Nice.

On tap at CBC, pours a cloudy dark orange with a tiny beige head. Aroma of complex caramel notes, light dark fruits, and heavy booze. Flavour of sweet caramel, loads of liqueur, alcohol, and residual sugars. Quite complex, with a great balance of flavours. Very nice barley wine.

Sampled @ CBC 2013. Clear rusty orange color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, alcohol, glue. Too much alcohol imo.

Sampled draught at CBC, blue session, Saturday afternoon May 4, 2013.Hazy amber color, small white head. Sweet, raisin, wood, alcohol scent. Sweet, vinous, salubrin, wood taste, warming. Raisin and salubrin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.
